This Summer Wedding in Westchester was a HOT ONE!

Desmond and Miranda’s wedding was a classy, chic Summer wedding on one of the hottest days of the year – July 28, 2023.

The temperature for this summer wedding in Westchester was in the mid-90s and the sun was blaring in the sky. The venue moved the wedding ceremony inside to keep everybody from dripping sweat in their suits and dresses. The heat didn’t stop this crowd though! We partied hard and had a ton of fun.

We started at the venue – Glen Island Harbour Club in Westchester. Desmond and the guys arrived fully dressed, so I took a few photos of them hanging out before heading over to Miranda and the girls.

The bridal prep was in a really beautiful, clean room full of natural light, neutral colors, and mirrors. After I photographed the details and the dress, Miranda and Desmond had a first-look and then we went out for started photos. We did the wedding party photos outside, and the family photos inside.

I can be super quick and efficient with group photos, all it takes is a good list and some command.

After the group photos we did a super quick portrait session, just to get some out of the way before the ceremony. We definitely couldn’t do too much with this heat.

The ceremony was short and sweet with a few stories and some vows. After all, this group just couldn’t wait to party!

Cocktail hour had excellent food – I had sooo many burger sliders 😂 Miranda and Desmond made their rounds talking to their guests, and then we went outside for some golden hour portraits. We got some gooooood shit!

After the common formalities (dances, speeches, dinner, etc) it was time to get after it. This crowd was rowdy, energetic, and they had moves! It was so fun being a part of this wedding.
