This Fall wedding in the Hudson Valley was really one for the books. From the first time I spoke with Sara & Kevin I had a strong feeling that we were gonna vibe as well as we do. They were fun to talk to, I could tell they loved to laugh together, and it was so easy to communicate. Nothing beats working with a super chill, down-to-earth couple who just wants to get married and party all night. It also helped that they are die-hard Giants fans!

They had their whole wedding day practically down the road from my house at the Ryan Family Farm in Lagrange, NY. They have a really beautiful property, and more importantly, they have goats.

The Ryan Family Farm is a family-owned and operated barn venue in the Hudson Valley with a massive property, including a small lake and pond down in the back, and a barn with a patio right up front. Couples who get married there also have access to the guest house which was a really nice area for bridal prep.

Fall is the perfect season for a Hudson Valley Wedding, and we seriously couldn’t have asked for better weather – it was a perfect day to sit outside. The sun was shining nice and bright and the leaves were popping like crazy! They added so much warmth and color to the day and to the photos.

It was really important that Sara involved her kids in the wedding, and that there were lots of photos of them all together as a family. Her daughter was the flower girl and her son was an honorary groomsman, and they absolutely killed it! It was so funny watching her son during the ceremony, plugging his ears during Kevin’s mushy vows about how much they love each other😂

Sara & Kevin’s wedding definitely reflected who they are as a couple. All they really wanted was to be surrounded by their friends and family, eat good food, and have a good fuckin’ time. We definitely did all that and more!
